Facility


The Department of Opto-electronic Engineering is currently housed in the forth floor of Engineering Building with a total floor space of 3,000 square meters. There are 3 undergraduate laboratories, 10 graduate research laboratories, 11 faculty offices, and 7 classrooms. Computing facilities include personal computers and workstations are connected through high-speed networks.

There are two major teaching laboratory facilities about photonics for undergraduate instruction. The researching laboratories includes: opto-information lab, applied plasmonic lab, optical energy conversion lab, organic opto-electronic lab, nano optoelectronic materials lab, opto-electronic devices and energy technology lab, nano energy and optoelectronics lab, bioimage and optical science lab.
